Why We Test Your Glass Before We Tint It 🔍🪟
Not all glass is the same — and guessing can be costly.
Before we install any window film on homes or commercial buildings, we test the glass first using a professional glass identification kit. This tells us whether your glass has:
• An internal coating
• An external coating
• Or no coating at all (standard float glass)
Why does this matter?
Window film works by managing heat. If the wrong film is installed on the wrong type of glass, heat can become trapped inside the pane — leading to thermal stress, cracking, or even glass failure.
Testing allows us to:
✔ Choose the correct film for your specific glass
✔ Maximise heat and UV rejection safely
✔ Protect your windows from damage
✔ Ensure long-term performance and warranties
Most companies skip this step.
We don’t.
At Dynamic Tinting & Windscreens, we believe quality comes before speed, and doing the job right starts before the film ever touches the glass.
Because your windows — and your investment — deserve better.
